Welcome to my website dedicated to the quality Mini-Rex that I breed
here in the State of Texas! For those who are new to the breed and
wanting to learn more, I've included a description of the Mini-Rex.
Description
The Mini-Rex Senior Does can
be 4.8 lbs while the Senior Bucks can be 4.4 lbs. They are a 4-Class
Rabbit (shown as Junior Bucks, Junior Does, Senior Bucks and Senior
Does). They are well-muscled with good shoulder and hip widths. Their
ears stand straight and erect.
The main feature of Rex rabbits is their very beautiful and very soft
fur. It feels just like velvet when you pet it. This is because the
longest guard hairs have been bred away and the secondary guard hairs
have been reduced to the same length as the undercoat hairs.

Varieties
The Mini-Rex is shown in several
different varieties. These varieties include Black, Blue BEW, Broken,
Castor, Chinchilla, Chocolate, Himalayan, Lilac, Lynx, Opal, Otter,
Red, Sable Point, Seal, Tortoise and White. There is a current COD
in Siamese Sable at this time. My rabbitry focuses primarily on Black,
Broken, Castor, Chinchilla and White althought I do have a few other
varities.
