Darkhawk is a beautiful black buck we were lucky enough to borrow from Lisa Lopez of Lapiniere Rabbitry in Texas. She bought him as a junior, and loaned him to us to do some breedings while Johnny is away. Darkhawk is a very correct buck. He has gorgeous type, short compact, super smooth and full hindquarters, and massive width and lovely topline. He has excellent black color and rollback coat that I'm really looking forward to adding more in, especially in our ruby eyed whites. He has bulldog width to his head and very thick well set ears, and that beautiful bold eye that I adore. He also has kept an amazing senior mane for a buck, with excellent crimp, texture and density. I don't have a lot to say that's not wonderful about this boy, but he does have some flank wool still, but seems to be losing some still, so I think he may eventually shed out more completely. He also could use a little more depth of shoulders, but bred to my does with a lot of depth, I think he produce beautifully while he's here.

Darkhawk has been bred to a number of our does while he's
here, including most of my Ruby Eyed White does and Ruby Eyed White carrier does.
